LEARN TO DANCE

Here at The Andrews Dance Centre we believe that dance classes should be fun and enjoyable and we aim to inspire our pupils with enthusiastic teachers, innovative routines and well organised structured classes.  We care about each and every pupil and encourage them to achieve their dreams.  We enter our pupils for examinations with The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and The National Association of Teachers of Dancing.  Pupils also have the opportunity to participate in shows and workshops.

The Andrews Dance Centre was founded in 1954 by Audrie Andrews and the first classes were held in Stevenage but then extended to offer classes in Hitchin, Baldock and Biggleswade.  Audrie’s daughter Joy Andrews became the principal in 1987 and further extended the school making it a top school in the area for all round training.  Helen Saines has been the principal since January 2007 and works hard to ensure our school provides a safe, nurturing, happy environment for all our pupils.

Our teachers are former pupils and have been trained by Helen Saines for their teaching qualifications.  Our teachers are also CRB checked and the school holds public liability insurance.
